  1. This year, it is most important for me to watch Jack Frost (NOT the Michael Keaton one), for Christmas, and Terror Train, for New Year's Eve. Not horror, but Get Crazy! is a definite must-see on every New Year's Eve in our house!

  2. For me it's Black Christmas every year. It feels like the actual holiday of Christmas instead of a hokey take on Christmas Horror. There's honesty. Grindhousehorror@gmail.com

  3. 'A Muppet Christmas Carol' is an absolute must. We watch with the kids, we watch as adults, and it's the one thing we fall asleep to on Christmas Eve. Traditions, man. I'm bloodypopcorn (at) gmail.com! :)

  4. I'll be fitting in at least 12 movies this year but one I must watch annually is Scrooge aka A Christmas Carol (1951) starring Alastair Sim

  6. I hadn't been aware of it til sometime last year, but I have to watch "Inside" (2007). It is creepy, gory, and has one of my favorite horror movie treats: a woman in danger.

  11. There are so many things I HAVE to watch every year, but the two that it just isn't Christmas if I don't watch are "Christmas Vacation" and "A Charlie Brown Christmas."

  21. Bad Santa. It's been a tradition for the past 4 years to Christmas with the family on Christmas Eve, and then watch Bad Santa on Christmas morning and drink heavily until I pass out, puke, or, if I happen upon a Christmas miracle, it turns into December 26th, and I celebrate my win by drinking heavily until I pass out or puke.

  24. ERNEST SAVES CHRISTMAS! There is no other holiday movie that oozes with this much nostalgia and makes me feel like a little kid again than Ernest Saves Christmas. Ernest' whacky and zany characters always make me crack up and I'm left wanting more. Nothing beats sitting down by the fire place with egg nog & brandy, Xmas cookies, & my old pal Ernest bringing in the holidaze cheer. Hey Vern, KnoWhutIMean? Tidbittle: Dear Santos, I've been very good this year and all I want for Christmas is a Christmas Slay movie in 2016.

  26. Gremlins. I grew up with it so much that absolutely have to watch Gremlins every year around Christmas. I love it because it's a great horror comedy and it's also very Christmasy. I remember so much Christmas stuff in it: Gizmo being given as a gift, Billy's mom watching It's a wonderful life, the gremlin in the Christmas tree, the dog strung up in Christmas lights, the Christmas carolers during the scene where Billy and Kate talk to each other, and other Christmas stuff. 27. I try to sit down and enjoy a little film called "Prancer." Super depressing holiday fare that reminds me how crummy it is to be a little kid. Even the "happy" ending can't spoil the sense of doom that is generated.
