  1. the meltdown scene is great ,,
    Julie Carmen/Regine Dandridge for sure

  2. Favorite scenes are from the first film. Jerry Dandrige eating fruit, like as a cleansing palette for every time he kills someone. Think that's brilliant. Heard on the Icons of Fright commentary that it was sorta Sarandon's idea, as he wanted Jerry to have the attributes of a fruitbat. Pretty amazing.

And holy shit that Robocop art over on J.D.s page is amazeballs.

  3. Vampira is the sexiest vampire!

Diggin that blog, I like that he shows his designs from concept to completion. Very cool. :)

  4. The part we're evil ed says your dinners in the oven

  5. The first confrontation of Jerry Dandridge, after he's bitten Amy. "Welcome to Fright Night...for real". When they try to use the crucifixes, and it doesn't work because Peter doesn't have faith... I thought that was a great statement in "Fantasy vs Reality" in dealing with real-life situations. Also, "Welcome to Fright Night for real" is what Chris Sarandon quoted when he signed my Fright Night poster in 2010.

  6. Sexiest vampire is jason Patrick in lost boys. Super hunky. Instagram: slashersteve1031

  7. The sexiest vampire is Delphine Seyrig from Daughters of Darkness! She's got more lipstick than RuPaul.

  8. This is really hard for me. I am a HUGE Fright Night fan. I have an entire wall dedicated to it in my horror room.

As for scenes, this is tough!!! Just considering the intensity of the special effects, I'm going to have to say Evil Ed's transformation from wolf to wolf/human to human. Roddy's reactions were so genuine and believable in that scene. The special FX department did an incredible job making that seem effortless.
I'm also a big Fright Night Part 2 fan and in that movie I'd have to give some major thumbs up to the dance scene, where Regine changes form right in front of the crowd.

The sexiest vampire is so clearly the original Jerry Dandridge. I think Fright Night really brought back the idea that vampires are so scary because they can be so alluring. Could anyone have done a better job at that than Chris Sarandon? So worldly, so charming and so sexy.

    1. Kristina you were the winner, i will email you now :)

  9. My favorite moment is in FRIGHT NIGHT part 2 when Peter is in the bar and after watching Regine on television answers the question "What do you do?" with "What is the matter with you friend? Are you hard of hearing? I... Kill..Vampires."

My vote for sexiest vampire is Anne Parilluad as Marie in the 1992 John Landis film Innocent Blood.

  10. Sexiest vamps...
Male : David Boreanaz as Angel in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel
Female: Aaliyah as Akasha in The Queen of the Damned

The original Fright Nightwas so amazing and iconic, hard to narrow down to just one scene! Gave me nightmares and had me clinging to my seat!

  11. My favorite scene is Evil Eds transformation

  12. I'm going to say my favorite moment from the original Fright Night is a very VERY minor scene. It features Peter Vincent introducing one of his films. While that scene is amazing, especially for anyone who grew up with a local TV horror host, it's the film within the film itself that contains this amazing moment. Peter Vincent has just interrupted a sultry vampire's "nightly feeding" and he proceeds to advance on her...WITH THE STAKE FACING THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION! This moment not only sets up both the humor of Fright Night and the true nature of Peter Vincent but it best represents the classic era of Hammer Studios from which the film acts as a love letter to.

  14. My favorite scene is in the remake, when Chris Sarandon (the original Jerry Dandridge) makes a cameo as the guy in the car that hits Charlie's mom's car. I had to put my hand over my mouth to muffle the sound of surprise when I saw him!

  15. The scene at Peter Vincent's apartment with Evil Ed in the original. Vampire Willow from the Buffy episodes "The Wish" and "Doppelgangland"

  16. The sexiest vampire is Salma Hayek as Santánico Pandemonium in From Dusk Till Dawn
