A Quentin Tarantino inspired Burlesque Show hitting Philly on 8/10!

PhilaMOCA to host the anniversary installment of Philadelphia’s only film-themed burlesque show, Miss Rose’s Sexploitation Follies presents Quentin Tarantino Burlesque!

(Philadelphia, PA) SATURDAY AUGUST 10th, 2012 – From the founder and Co-Producer of Philly’s new I Heart Burlesque! and the founder of Naked Girls Reading: Philadelphia  comes an evening at PhilaMOCA full of film-inspired flesh and wild wanton women by the name of Miss Rose’s Sexploitation Follies!

August’s Sexploitation Follies focuses on the works of cult film icon Quentin Tarantino. Hosting both action packed shows replete with dangerous dames, vivacious violence, sexy sword play, and bad ass mother you-know-whats, Iris Explosion!  Bringing you burlesque based on Pulp Fiction to Django Unchained and everything in between, this show features the East Coast’s finest filmlesquers! All the way from NYC’s Kitty Nights, serving up more than just a royale with cheese, Fem Appeal! Miss Mary Wanna teams up with Mr. Fahrenheit (aka Mr. Blond, for the night) to bring a little True Romance to the stage. She’s Unchained and undressed, NYC’s daring darling, Miss Poison Ivory! Peekaboo Revue’s own Ginger Leigh is not only smoking hot, she’s Deathproof to boot! And last but never least, the Inglourious Miss Rose promises to be the most Badass Bride this side of Alamo.  

August 10th is the one year anniversary installment of Miss Rose’s Sexploitation Follies in the filmtastic city of Philadelphia, brought to you by Philadelphia’s Badass of Burlesque, Miss Rose.  Held on the third Saturday of every other month at PhilaMOCA, the Sexploitation Follies is an evening of burlesque homage to a different director each show.
