  3. When I was younger, my favorite part was the "knock my block off" bit with the biker and littlest clown. These days, it's the scene with Dave in the police station. Mooney's body being used as a puppet, complete with rosy cheeks and the blood running from the corners of his mouth so he looks like a marionette. The awful sound when the clown pulls his hand from Mooney's back. It's so dark and hilarious and stupid.

"Don't worry, Dave. All we wanna do is kill you."

Definitely a hard choice. Either Farmer Gen Green getting electrocuted by the "tent lines" or when Officer Mooney hits the Klown over the head and his heads spins around. Mooney's face is priceless.

Well shit, I'll go ahead and answer both if you don't mind! Favorite scene, I've always like the scene in the police station after Mooney is killed and is being used as a ventriloquist dummy. Favorite fictional clown, that's a bit tougher. It would be a tad clichéd to say Pennywise, so how about Zeebo from the "Laughing in the Dark" episode of Alone in the Dark? Granted, we never actually SEE him, but that somehow made it scarier.

  22. For me, my favorite scene in Killer Klowns was the popcorn changing into monsterous klown heads attached to tentacles with sharp fangs! Now THAT was a truly intense scene!! Those tentacles were freaky!!

My favorite clown of course, is Pennywise! (with Ronald Mc Donald, coming in at a close second...gotta love Ronald) Anyways, the scene in IT, where he opens his mouth and shows his razor-sharp teeth...that was another intense(and scary scene)!

  23. I JUST watched this movie with my 13 year-old daughter on Saturday night! I couldn't begin to tell you how many times I watched it at her age, back when it was on late night cable EVERY NIGHT, but this was her very first viewing. She Spent most of the film laughing or rolling her eyes (in all the right places, I might add...) but when we got to MY favorite scene of the film, she gasped in horror, just as I expected her to.

The scene where Deputy Dave has just left the candy-cocooned convicts and has returned to the office only to find a Killer Klown sitting and waiting for him. On his lap? Officer "You won't make a dummy out of me!" Mooney sitting on his lap. The tone of Mooney's voice, the doll make-up, the cold and calculated threat... it was one of the few moments in the movie where the Klowns felt genuinely terrifying (I think the restaurant scene pulls a close second). Then when the Klown pulls his hand out of the hole and shakes the blood off with a snap as Mooney slumps to the floor? Classic.

My daughter gasped and looked at me and said "I think this one just got in my head..." and then we watched as Dave kills the clown with a shot to the nose. Then the care-free hi-jinks carried on.

I think the line that got us laughing the hardest was "What're you gonna do with those pies... boys?"

ps. I "liked your page as "Derek Ash" since I'm not the Goodwill Geek on Facebook.

I've always enjoyed the shadow puppet scene ever since I was a kid. Great use of effects, and that little clown was creepy as hell....just the whole feel of that scene left a lasting impression on me to this day.

"Who's your favorite Clown in Cinema or Literature?"

I really don't like clowns, haha.....but I always liked watching Homey the Clown from In Living Color. Homey don't play that. :p
