  1. Hi, I just joined the Quiltface Facebook page, and my fave scene from 'Halloween III' is when Tom Atkinds is awakened by screams while he's sleeping in the hospital, and runs to discover a murder scene and a bizarre suicide in the parking lot. I love it!

  2. My favorite Halloween III scene is when robot Ellie attacks Dan while he is driving and then he knocks her head off with a tire iron. So delightfully cheesy.

    Great poster!

Favourite scene in Halloween III is tough. I think the best scene is clearly when the family, who have annoyed the audience for long enough, finally succumb to Samhain's curse and the kid's head apparently implodes into snakes, cockroaches and gross icky jelly. But my favourite scene? Well, it's kind of dumb, but I love when Dan O'Herlihy is berating Tom Atkins, tied up in the pumpkin mask, with the most severe of faces. Halloween comes on the TV and the "Laurie's Theme/Haunted House" theme start playing. When Dan O'Herlihy says "Oh, Happy Halloween" with no humour in his face, with that music playing underneath? Wow, so cool. I love how the Halloween III score dips down and allows that piece of music, oestensibly digetic and from the TV in the scene, to play as an underscore in this movie.

  4. Scott McGonigal (Scottiedics@aol.com) - Was already joined to the Quiltface FB page. Hmmm... the grim finale. Tom Atkins feverishly trying to stop the television signal but as the viewer you know its too late. Little kids across the country are dying in mass already. Its a doomsday-like ending. He was too late. Its what you don't see in this scene which creates the horror. And Tom Atkins is at his absolute best in this scene. The panic in his performance is so great that you cant help but feel the dread. Great movie ending!

  5. My favorite scene is the kid's mask eating him alive. So fucking creepy!!!! The ending with tom Atkins screaming crazily is also a great scene and ending!

  7. Just joined. Conal Cochran's morbid, magnificent soliloquy explaining his plans for the evening to a beaten Dr. Challis is my favorite scene from this masterpiece.

  9. Okay, not only did I forget my email in my initial post...but on second thought, it's a tie between that and the previously mentioned final few seconds, just before we're left in darkness, Challis' hopeless scream reverberating through the night. "STOP IT!!!"

Love that poster! Must have a copy...

  10. I had previously liked their page and man it seems we all love the same badass iconic scenes - has to be the pumpkin mask stuck to the kids face (I just got that shirt) and Atkins screaming at the end. Which I asked him several years ago at monster mania to reenact but he couldnlt do it, he did it softly, haha. Love him. great print and contest. monstermary@comcast.net

  11. LIKED THE PAGE! I like any scene where Adkins sports a Trench coat. Nobody can sport one like he can, NO ONE!

The Silver Shamrock jingle is my ringtone and truly my favorite part about SEASON OF THE WITCH.

  12. I already liked Quiltface, and my favorite scene is probably the Bond Villain explanation of the evil scheme. Either that or ANY time the Silver Shamrock jingle is playing. In my mind, that song is just as iconic as the one from the first flick.

  13. Been a fan of Quiltface for a while now (is it still cool if I enter the contest?) and my favorite scene from Halloween III: Season of the Witch is probably the final moments when Dr. Challis is screaming into the phone for the television station to "STOP IT!" After everything Challis has been through and all the terrible things he's seen, it comes as a lonely, horrifying, panicked moment and leaves the viewer completely on edge and rocked with the uncertainty of just what does happen next. Chills go down my spine every single time I watch this scene. Hell, I am getting chills now just thinking about it. To me, it's a jet black, pitch perfect ending to one of my all time favorite horror films.

Halloween 3 is one of my top 5 favorite movies, its ao obscure and random, but one my favorite scenes is when Tom Atkins escapes from the android, and is calling the tv stations trying to get them to shut off. Its so intense, and really lights up the seriousness of the situation.

  18. I just liked Quiltface Studios :)

I've honestly got to say that my favorite scene in Halloween 3 is a tie between the kid's mask eating his face, or the end. I don't know why, but I always loved the ending. Maybe it's because it couldn't be stopped? :P

  19. I liked Quiltface and my favorite part of Halloween III is how after he kills the guy in the hospital and before he burns himself, the android wipes his messy glove on a curtain. Robots hate burning theirself with a messy gloved hand.

  20. I joined the Quiltface page and my favorite scene in Halloween 3 is the final one. I was so freaked out as a kid as Atkins frantically tried to get the Silver Shamrock ad off the final channel. "Stop it. Stop it! Stop it! STOP ITTTTTT!"

  21. I "Liked' the Quiltface page now my favorite scene is at the end when Dan Challis (Tom Atkins) breaks out of the cell, saves Ellie (or so he thought) and sneaks up behind the computers and programs all the tv's to the Silver Shamrock commercial then sneaks up the steps with a box of Silver Shamrock trademark chips them dumps the box down killing all of Cochran's androids. Totally epic!! I really love this film and can't understand why it gets such a bad rap. The film is brilliant and so unique!! e-mail: horrorchick79@gmail.com

  24. I have liked Quiltface. Picking a scene from Halloween 3 is a hard one, this movie is one of the few movies that still sticks with me to creep me out. I think that the scene in which they bring the test family to the factory and are in a living room like setting and it plays out to the commercial. The mask just produces so many creepy crawlers to consume the entire family leaving a disgusting wake in it's path .

  25. I have liked Quiltface for a while now and have all his stuff framed up. Always cranking out good shit! My favorite scene in Halloween III is when you hear the Silver Shamrock commercial for the first time. You'll be singing that shit until Christmas.... easy!

  26. been a fan of Quiltface for quite some time now, and Season of the witch is my fav of the Halloween series...fav scene...whole film I can't pick a fav scene...when the dude from "the beastmaster" and his family get to the factory and his son's head disintergrates.

  27. Liked Quiltface fb page! Favorite part of film is definitely the masks adhering to children's faces! I mean, how can that be topped? And although it is not a favorite 'part': the atmosphere in season of the witch was pretty well done considering its low budget. (Oh, email is joeyvillari(at)yahoo.com)

The Silver Shamrock montage scene of kids all over the U.S. trick or Treating. Shit owns.

  29. Liked Quiltface on Facebook. My favorite part of the movie is (though I love the whole movie) is where they're driving through the town, trying to find the motel they're going to stay in. When the voices comes on the over speaker saying "It's six o'clock. It's six o'clock... Curfew. Curfew... All residents of Santa Mira please clear the streets. Curfew is now in effect. Please confine your activites to your own home... Thank you... Have a plesant evening.". I always thought it was weird.

But then again, I do also love the song "{days until} Halloween, Halloween...".

  34. I liked/joined the Quiltface page on Facebook. My favorite scene is when they go to the Shamrock factory & tour it Willy Wonka-style. This movie is way underrated in my opinion. People dislike it because it doesn't have Michael Myers... which I get. But it's still a good flick. Cool print too!

  37. Afternoon, I have been a fan of the Halloween series since i was a child. I didn't understand why so many people hated on this movie so much. Now its forgotten. And it will be, unless its re-booted or something...80's horror was a mile stone.
I have many different moments in this movie I could call my favorite. Ok, ill take you back to when i was a kid. Seeing this movie for the first time on VHS, P.S. i had a pumpkin mask on at the time. The shamrock cartoon would play and i would love it. So as the movie progressed. I had on my mask pretending i was in the movie. And bam! First the woman playing with the computer chip. Ouch!!! But, that didn't scare me yet. I still had it on. Now the family scene when the test is happening and shit starts to go down. Now i loved bugs at that age. But, when you see the amount of creatures that come out of the kids head. I said im done. No mask....And i never wore a pumpkin mask ever again. p.s. The Halloween Commercial in the movie rules every time.

  38. I just liked Quiltface. My favorite part is the commercial for Halloween. To funny the only part with Michael Myers in it.

  39. Like the Quiltface page, which looks cool as shit by the way. A couple of scenes are greatness starting with the test family watching the commercial and their heads melting and snakes, etc...lol. Then at the end when he tries to stop the broadcast of the commercial but can't and you know what happened to the family earlier is what's happening everywhere.

  40. My favorite scene in Halloween 3 is where Dr. Challis is attacked by Robot Ellie in the car right before the end of the film. This scene created more mystery and made me wonder how long she had been a robot. It created a sense of doom and showed that nothing was safe anymore. Brilliant and genius plot, way ahead of it's time.

Halloween 3 has influenced me on almost every film I have directed. It's been my favorite in the series since seeing it in 1982.

  48. I've had Quiltface studio liked since they unveiled the design. It's incredible!

My favorite scene is probably everybody elses's as well, but nothing beats the final countdown at the end of the movie. Intense would be putting it mildly and in those last few moments, I could feel my heart racing and bam! Credits! Left such an impact on me as a kid that I forgot that Michael Myers wasn't even in the film. Love this flick!!

Best of luck to all those who entered and ty for holding the contest!

  52. Just joined the page. What's not to love about this movie? The kills are original, Cochrane's master plan is downright sinister and the film has got the best ad jingle that never really existed. Still, my favorite part is just watching Tom Atkin's owning the shit out of the 80's and banging hot chicks half his age. Okay, seriously, I think my favorite part is the ending. It still gives me chills to think about what is about to happen to millions of unsuspecting children. Dark stuff!
