"Pumpkinhead" Poster Give-A-Way!

This past Friday I had the pleasure of catching Stan Winston's Pumpkinhead in 35mm at The Colonial Theatre
in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania!

As always at these "First Friday Fright Night" Screening a poster was made specifically for the event, I'm a big fan of the Pumpkinhead creature and was happy to hear that my good friend Chris Garofalo of Quiltface-Studios would be handling this event's poster!

As you can see above he nailed it and I made sure to grab and extra one off him for this latest SMF Poster Give-A-Way!

  1. Liked the Quiltface page.

My favorite scene in the original movie is when the creature is walking through the ruined church - such a great shot of one of the coolest movie monsters ever made.

  2. I liked the page.

My favorite scene is the " You're marked " scene, when the creature arrives it's just badass, and when she kills some of the characters, it's even better. Add Lance Henriksen with a shotgun... And you have the best scene in the movie !

  3. I previously liked his page, I hope that counts. My favorite scene is where lance is digging the body up from that tall stand alone pumpkin patch. It's where they bury their mistakes. The lighting in that scene is great. Also in the church scene. Monstermary@comcast.net

  4. I had already liked Quiltface.

Pumpkinhead is a great movie, and I particularly love the night scenes. They have such a great atmosphere, with the moonlight and fog, plus Stan Winston's effects. I think my favorite scene is when Pumpkinhead kills Joel by impaling him with the rifle. The way the monster just kind of bobbles the corpse's head after always creeped me out.

  5. Been a fan of Quiltface. Favorite scene is when Ed Harley meets Haggis. Shit is chilling. Not just their conversation, but the atmosphere of the entire scene. The way that area of the woods is designed, the walkway to her cabin, the dark blue night. Amazing.

Favorite scene is a tie between the ruined church and Lance's face when he turns around and looks at the kid after his son was run over.

My favorite scene is where Ed Harly meets the old woman Haggis. That whole scene is suspenseful and pretty scary. Reminds me a lot of local areas where I live!

  17. I liked Quiltface.

Everyone has mentioned my favorites already, so I'm gonna go with the moment when Ed, cradling his son, looks up at the kids after the accident. That one shot is Lance Henriksen's finest moment as an actor. The sheer emotion conveyed without saying a word is amazing.
