10 Movie Scenes that use to Scare the Bejesus Out of Me . . .

It's been awhile since I did a list on here, so here is one about 10 Movies/Scenes that use to (ok still do) Scare the Bejesus Out of Me!

10: Tremors (1990)
Pretty much the whole movie scared me when I first saw this as a kid, and for a good while I was afraid to walk on anything that wasn't cement in fear that a Graboid would get me!
It's a good thing by the time the sequel came out I was over my fear of the movie Tremors cause in that movie the Graboids morphed into walking creatures and you were no longer safe any where!
The scene that use to get me the most  when I was younger was the discovery of Old Fred's severed Head lying in the ground surrounded by his dead flock of sheep!

It's A Great Time To Be A "Halloween 3" Fan!

"Halloween 3: Season of the Witch" is a movie you either LOVE or Hate, I happen to fall into the Love category myself. It's my goto film when I want to watch something but I'm not sure what that something is and because of that I watch "Season of the Witch" at least once of month!

I could hardly contain the excitement when I heard that "Scream Factory" a Horror off shoot of "Shout Factory" would be releasing "Halloween 3" along with part 2 very soon on Blu-ray with loads of Special Features!
"HALLOWEEN III Collector’s Edition Special Features

An Awesome Pack of Goodies from Freddy In Space!

My Good Friends John and Jen of Freddy In Space sent me a really cool package of goodies today in the mail! I wanted to open as soon as I got back to my office, but that Freddy Astronaut art on the box was to neat to destroy!
So I figured I'd wait to got home . . .
Big Mistake as I was cutting into the box with a knife I ended up puncturing myself with the point of the blade and bleed like a stuff pig for a good five minutes!

Document of Violence: Eat The Turnbuckle @ the M-Room (06.15.12)

Eat The Turnbuckle are a wrestling themed hardcore band from Philadelphia PA that made their national debut a few months ago at SXSW. Since then ETT has been touring up and down the East Coast and through the Tri State area. Last night was the band's triumphant return to the City of Brotherly C.H.U.D and I was on hand to document the stupidity, violence and rock and roll shenanigans.

Those that don't know the band please allow this post to be an introduction. Eat The Turnbuckle are 6 plus sized beardos that have taken up Philadelphia's extreme wrestling mantle (R.I.P ECW Arena); taking wrasslin’ antics like blood letting, cheese grating, dollar bill body stapling, fluorescent tube smashing and table breaking out of the VFW halls and backyards and into the arena of rock. Combined with an ugly, old school hardcore sound these guys blaze through a half hour set with so much fury that you'll spend more time ducking fists, vomit (courtesy of 2nd vocalist Dr. Fear) and plasma than rocking out. So, next time Eat The Turnbuckle is in your town you owe it to your self-loathing, masochistic self to see them. BUT they are definitely not for the squeamish or anyone afraid of getting hepatitis.

Sorry for the lack of Updates . . .

Sorry for the lack of  posts on the blog, between finally getting myself back in some sort of a routine at gym after taking most of the Spring off and it finally being Summer & so nice out I just can't seem to find the motivation to sit and write on my laptop much right now! So this month may pretty dead update wise, but I did get some items off Amazon for things I plan to feature in during the Summer!
I used to order of Amazon all the time until one of my packages never got to me, I think it got stolen from a not so friendly neighbor but either way that is what lead me to get a P.O. Box!

Here's the cool shit (well to me any way) that I got . . .
First up I want do a full "Piranha Week" here on the Blog maybe the same week as The Discovery Channel's "Shark Week", featuring reviews of Piranha, Piranha 2: The Spawning, Piranha (1995), 3D, 3DD, Mega Piranha, and Pirhnaconda!
Plus maybe a give-a-way or two!
My Piranha 2: The Spawning VHS has seen better days, so I finally updated to DVD and I never saw the 90s Showtime Remake so I also bought that!

Zombies vs Ninjas 2

On Sunday June 24th SMF Presents a sequel to one of my favorite past Parties . . . "Zombies vs. Ninjas"! It's a Day of "Zombie" films, "Ninja" films, and films featuring Ninjas fighting Zombies!

Last year event was pretty EPIC, it took place on a day in May when the World was going to End until "Macho Man" Randy Savage made the Ultimate Sacrifice for our SINS!
We played "Raw Force", "Story of Ricky", "Five Elements Ninja", "Shaolin vs Evil Dead", "Ninja 3: The Domination" and "City of the Living Dead"

It's going to be hard to top last year, but let's take a look what we will be featuring . . .

Zern's Farmers Market

Last night my friend Nicole and I visited Zern's Famers Market in Gilbertsville, PA.
This was the first time I been to there inclose to five years and I'm happy to report not much has changed, the best way to describe Zern's is stepping into time machine and your destination is a Late80s/Early90s Flea Market! It's not just the crazy old shit that people are selling at their tables, but Mullets, Tie-died Shirts, and Acid Washed Jeans are all the fashion norm and not at all worn ironically!
